Membership is for Grade 6s and 7s by selection only. All grade 5s are tested towards the end of the year and the strongest candidates are invited to join the Lit Quiz squad.
Attendance of practices is expected and takes place on Wednesday mornings from 7:10 am until 7:55 am in the library.
There is one quiz per term. We are only able to enter 2 teams (of 4 learners each) in each quiz so teams are rotated to give everyone in the squad a chance to participate. Our first competition will be on 12 March. This is a very exciting one, as the winning Cape Town school will take part in the SA nationals on Saturday 14 March!
