Cogz Coding Club Staff

I am Alison van Staden, a qualified B.Ed Foundation Phase Teacher specialising in ECD. After time spent teaching this phase in the UK I returned to South Africa and obtained a post as the ICT teacher at a local Cape Town school. I have therefore been involved in the EdTech space for the past 10 years both in the classroom and in developing CAPS Coding and Robotics curriculum aligned content with an EdTech start up company. 

In our world today we need to embrace Coding, Robotics and all things digital. I want to ensure that from the primary level the learners at The Grove have a broad understanding of the subject and for the ones who have a natural aptitude for the subject, I am excited to be able to extend and harness their talents with the Cogz Coding Club. This is such an exciting new path for future Grovites.
