Term 1 Projects

In Term 1, we will focus on introducing learners to the principles of service and teamwork while beginning hands-on community involvement. Planned projects include:

● Community Care Drive: Assisting an existing drive by collecting bottle tops for potential house points.

● School-Based Service Initiative: Researching cost effective DIY ways to make bags or containers to assist the Chess Club with their loose chess pieces.

Large Projects Planned for Later in the Year

As the year progresses, Interact learners will participate in larger outreach and leadership initiatives, such as:

● Winter Warmth Initiative: encouraging knitting/ crocheting squares for blankets (potential points involved)

● Mandela Day Outreach (Term 3): Community service initiative in support of Nelson Mandela International Day (67 minutes of service). Possibly visiting a retirement home and putting together a small showcase.
