Hello! My name is Megan Jordaan and I run the school’s new Junior Drama Club for Grades 2s and 3s. I hold undergraduate degrees in Drama and Psychology, an Honours in Fine Arts, an Honours in Psychology, and a PGCE in ECD and Foundation Phase. This cross-disciplinary background supports my approach to drama as both a creative outlet and a meaningful developmental tool.
I am passionate about the role of drama in supporting young children’s growth, particularly in building self-confidence, communication, collaboration, and emotional literacy through play-based learning. The Junior Drama Club offers learners an engaging space to explore movement, storytelling, role-play, and imagination in a structured and age-appropriate way.
Outside the classroom, I love animals and have three cats and a dog. I also enjoy playing board games, Dungeons & Dragons, and supports Tottenham Hotspur. Looking ahead, I hope to eventually pursue a Master’s in Educational Psychology, with a particular interest in the potential of drama therapy to support children’s wellbeing.
