School Times and Gates
IMPORTANT: 15 - 31 January 2025 - Please note that Grade 1's will finish at 1pm
ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE TIMES FROM 15 JANUARY 2025
We love having our families around, but we also must keep track of who accesses our campus. For this reason we have implemented a "parent pass" system, which will allow security to scan visitors into the school grounds. We know you'll understand that the safety of [y]our kids come first. Thank you for playing along!
Collecting children earlier from school during the school day:
If you need to collect your child before the end of the school day, please send an email or a diary-note to your class teacher, and let Mrs Botha (reception@thegrove.co.za) know, a day in advance. If your child will be collected by a third party, please make this clear in your communications.
When you collect your child, go to Gate 1 (Grove Avenue). Security will radio the office and your child will be sent to meet you at the gate. Thank you for your support in keeping your children safe, and our teaching time as undisrupted as possible.
Items forgotten at home...
We ask that you encourage your child/ren to pack everything they need for school, the night before. Being prepared not only alleviates stress, but it encourages our Grovites to be RESPONSIBLE - one of our favourite Grove values ;-)
