What is Interact?
Interact is a community service and leadership club for learners who want to make a positive difference in their school and wider community. Aligned with the values of The Grove Primary School as well as the values promoted in the South African CAPS curriculum, including responsible citizenship, social awareness, and active participation. Interact encourages learners to develop leadership skills, empathy, teamwork, and a spirit of service.
Through Interact, learners participate in meaningful service projects, fundraising initiatives, and outreach programmes that promote compassion, integrity, and community involvement. The society provides a safe and structured platform for Grade 7 learners to:
● Develop leadership and organisational skills
● Build confidence in public speaking and teamwork
● Engage in community upliftment projects
● Learn the value of service above self
PURPOSE
To encourage leadership, empathy, responsibility, and community involvement through patrol care and outreach activities.
