Latin & Ballroom Staff

My name is Nikki Jones and I am the Ballroom and Latin American dance coach at The Grove Primary School. I started at The Grove in the 3rd term, 2024 as a Grade 6 teacher and I am now a Grade 4 teacher.

I am passionate about Ballroom and Latin as my parents enrolled me in classes at the tender age of 5. Dance is something that allows us to be whomever we want on the dance floor, expressing joy and passion. I have competed in many local competitions as well as representing South Africa in London at the Blackpool Championships and at the 10 Dance World Championships in South Korea and Finland. Additionally, I am a qualified Licentiate Ballroom and Latin American coach and adjudicator and adjudicate many local and national competitions in South Africa.

Sharing my knowledge and passion for this sport with children has always been my dream. I love teaching dance at Grove!
