Reading Relay 2025!
Grade 1 to 7 learners

Did you know reading is a team sport?  On 20 June it is! 
During the Reading Relay, Grovites team up to read NON-STOP for 720 fantastical, thrilling, funny, informative, suspenseful, engaging, amusing minutes. 
That sounds like 12 hours of FUN!

When? 20 June 2025, 8:30am - 8:30pm

Where? School Hall

What? Throughout the day Grovites take turns to cuddle up in a cozy Reading Nook, and... read! What better way to celebrate books. We will read for 12 hours and see how many pages we can devour.  To add some motivation, learners are asked to get sponsors for the number of pages they will read. The race is ON!

Reading Nooks The school hall will be transformed into a sea of spaces to read. Our parents will help us set these up - think puffy cushions and fluffy blankets.

Sponsorships Forms will be sent home on 9 June. How many pages do you think your Grovite will read?  Sponsor a learner to read more

Volunteers We need parent volunteers to set up 40x  2mx2m reading nooks (on 19 June) and to help keep score of the pages read on the day (on 20 June). Please see Sign Up sheet below.
