Chess Term 2 2025 SENIOR CHESS CLUB

Our chess club is called The Grove Knights.. 

This sign-up form is just for term 2. 

What you need to know:

• Grades 4 - 7 chess practice on MONDAYS @ 14:40 - 15:40

• Practice for grades 4 - 7 takes place in the grade 4B class.

• Even if your child has been in the chess club before, sign-up is still required. 

• We have a limit of 30 learners for grades 4 - 7 - it will be on a first come first serve basis.

• You will be notified about the acceptance after the closing date stipulated below. 

• NO WALK-INS WILL BE ALLOWED

• CLOSING DATE IS 9 APRIL 2025

• Chess lessons will start on 14 APRIL 2025.

Chess Term 3 2025 JUNIOR CHESS CLUB

Our chess club is called The Grove Knights.. 

This sign-up form is just for term 3. 

What you need to know:

• Grades 1 - 3 chess practice on WEDNESDAYS @ 14:00 - 15:00

• Practise for the grades 1 - 3  take place in grade 1D class. 

• Even if your child has been in the chess club before, sign-up is still required. 

• We have a strict limit of 40 learners for Junior Chess - it will be on a first come first serve basis and the sign up form will be closed once the limit of 40 learners has been reached or by Tuesday, 22 July at 08:00.  

• You will be notified about the acceptance via email after the closing date stipulated below. 

• PLEASE NOTE:  NO WALK-INS WILL BE ALLOWED - Learners not signed up for Chess will be sent to the office for parents to be called for collection.  

• CLOSING DATE FOR REGISTRATION IS 22 July 2025.

• Chess lessons will start on 23 July 2025.
