Kaskar Race Day 2024

🔴🟡🔵🟢 What is Kaskar?

Kaskar is an annual fun go-kart day at The Grove. Learners and staff compete for their houses in a series of races in rented go-karts. 

🥳It’s a scheduled school-wide fun day! An opportunity for all classes to dress up and compete with each other in go-cart style racing on the sports field. 

🗓️ When?

• Date: 5 November 2024

• Time: 8h30 - 12h30

• Who: Grades R-7

• Spectators?  YES! Come cheer on your team, if you can

❗Please note - Learners have brought home colouring-in pages, with a fundraising component.  All forms (completed or not) must be returned to school on the 3rd of November 2024.

Schedule of Events

To facilitate safety and supervision, we will have 2 grades at a time on the field.

Grades will parade onto the field in their time slot and settle for the Safety Demo. We are looking so forward to admiring the outfits and themes!

Heat 1 : 08h30 to 09h00  Grade R and Grade 7

Heat 2 : 09h10 to 09h40   Grade 1 and Grade 6

Heat 3 : 09h50 to 10h30     Grade 2 and Grade 5

Heat 4 : 10h40 to 11h20     Grade 3 and Grade 4

Parents may access the field by entering through the big gate next to the main gate (gate 1) in Grove Avenue.  Please show your parent pass.
